All vegetation surveys conducted for the National Wind Erosion Research Network should record species using the plant species codes and nomenclature provided by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) PLANTS Database.

Plant species lists compiled for Network sites are available below. These lists will be updated as additional species are recorded during surveys. The lists serve as a reference during data collection.
